The Problem

Over the past few years, LinkedIn has become the go-to platform for professionals and creators. But with this growth came a wave of inauthenticity. We’ve all seen it - profiles that look polished but feel off, posts that get massive engagement but say little, and comment sections filled with irrelevant or suspicious responses.

As LinkedIn expanded, so did the problems. In 2023 alone, LinkedIn deleted over 2 million fake accounts.

A large number of these accounts are connected to engagement pods or use AI-generated comments. And it’s not just bad for users — brands have been losing real money, investing in creators who aren’t what they seem.

The Solution

At Favikon, we decided it was time to do something about it.

Today, we’re proud to introduce the LinkedIn Authenticity Score - the first AI-powered system designed to measure how authentic a creator really is.

5 axis of evaluation of Authenticity Score

Why We Built It

The idea is simple: brands deserve better.

When you partner with a creator, you want someone real. Someone with expertise. Someone who has built an engaged audience the right way. Not someone gaming the system with bots, shallow content, or growth hacks.

Our new Authenticity Score looks at everything that matters:

  • Follower growth patterns
  • Post content depth
  • Comment quality (no more bots or AI gibberish)
  • True expertise alignment
  • Signs of engagement pods or manipulation

We break it down, analyze it with AI, and turn it into one clear score - easy to understand, easy to act on.

Built for a Real Problem

This isn’t a shiny feature for the sake of it. It’s something our clients kept asking for. Brands were tired of burning money on creators who didn’t deliver. They wanted a simple, reliable way to filter the noise and work with real professionals.
